The annual Waffles & Wishes celebration invites friends of the Oregon chapter to gather and learn about the work of the organization while raising funds to support kids in our community battling life-threatening medical conditions. This complimentary waffle breakfast will feature the magic of a local wish and support the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon.
Walk For Wishes®

On your mark…get set…GO! The 4th annual Walk For Wishes is Saturday, June 4 in Salem. This 5K family-friendly walk begins at Willamette University and winds its way through beautiful Bush Park.
Summer Wishes

The Make-A-Wish® Junior Board is hosting its 3rd Annual Summer Wishes event on June 11, 2011 with a goal to raise $30,000 for local wishes. Summer Wishes is a red carpet event held at MotoCorsa in NW Portland where attendees enjoy fashion, delicious cuisine, cocktails and dancing. Please join us in helping make wishes come true for children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Food, Wine & Wishes
Save the Date: October 22, 2011
Every fall, the annual Food, Wine & Wishes gala auction takes place at The Portland Art Museum to raise more than $300,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Oregon – enough to grant 60 local wishes.
Season of Wishes® Holiday Campaign
November - December
‘Tis the season for giving back, and companies should be prepared to lead the charge. According to Cone Research, nearly 9-in-10 consumers (89 percent) want companies to support causes this holiday season, and 78percent want to be personally engaged in these efforts. Getting a jump on their shopping, half (49 percent) of Americans say they have already purchased or plan to purchase a holiday gift that supports a cause this year.
Buffalo Wild Wings
Buffalo Wild Wings has been a supportive partner of the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Oregon since 2008.
The partnership began when local owners, Chris Minoza and Wray Hutchinson, decided to support the Foundation’s Season of Wishes holiday campaign.
For the third year, Buffalo Wild Wings supported the Foundation by selling Make-A-Wish paper stars during December and raised $10,000 to support local wishes.
