The annual Waffles & Wishes breakfast at Hilton Eugene and Conference Center was a celebration of 30 years of wish-granting emceed by wish child Lydia Tam. Lydia received her wish to go to Hawaii last December and will be attending Stanford University in the fall.

The 12th annual Make-A-Wish Radiothon exceeded its goal and raised $30,369 and 110,254 frequent flier miles that will help grant wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions in Central Oregon. The two-day Make-A-Wish Radiothon aired on 105.7 KQAK-FM, THE PEAK 104.1 and LITE 95.7. The event has delivered 90 wishes, raised over $294,000 and generated over 2.3 million air miles since its inception in 2001.
