Fifth Grader Raises Money, Toys for Kids

When Rankin Shum’s fifth grade teacher presented her class with a “Challenge to Care,” the Cooper Mountain Elementary student went to the Internet to find a cause that benefited children. His teacher had given each student $20 with the challenge to turn it into something more that would benefit a local charity.

Buffalo Wild Wings

Buffalo Wild Wings has been a supportive partner of the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Oregon since 2008.

The partnership began when local owners, Chris Minoza and Wray Hutchinson, decided to support the Foundation’s Season of Wishes holiday campaign.

For the third year, Buffalo Wild Wings supported the Foundation by selling Make-A-Wish paper stars during December and raised $10,000 to support local wishes.
