Turn Miles into Smiles!

The Foundation has partnerships with many major airlines that allow you to donate your unused frequent flier miles to the Make-A-Wish Foundation®.

Such contributions have enabled the Make-A-Wish Foundation to send scores of children and their families on the trip of a lifetime, and have saved the Foundation thousands of dollars each year.

When Make-A-Wish® volunteers ask a child for his or her favorite wish, very often the response begins with “I wish to go….” In fact, about 75 percent of all wishes granted by the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon involve destination travel.

Please note: The IRS recognizes award points and miles as a gift or an award from the corporation to the individual.  Therefore, miles donated to charity are not considered tax-deductible.
