The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Oregon is proud of the way it manages and safeguards the generous contributions it receives from individual donors, corporations and other organizations. Every dollar our chapter receives aids us in our mission to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
Eighty-four percent of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon’s expenses are allotted to program services. This percentage well exceeds the standard upheld by organizations that monitor the work of charities.
Charity Navigator works to advance a more efficient and responsive philanthropic marketplace by evaluating the financial health of America’s largest charities. For more information about Charity Navigator’s rating of the Oregon chapter as it compares to other organizations, click here.
Buffalo Wild Wings has been a supportive partner of the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Oregon since 2008.
The partnership began when local owners, Chris Minoza and Wray Hutchinson, decided to support the Foundation’s Season of Wishes holiday campaign.
For the third year, Buffalo Wild Wings supported the Foundation by selling Make-A-Wish paper stars during December and raised $10,000 to support local wishes.
